From Lindsey:
I am incredibly grateful for the care and guidance I have received from Dr. Loop over the past 10 months.
I came to him with a complex autoimmune condition that no one else had been able to effectively help. At the time, I was experiencing severe eczema on my legs, widespread skin irritation, ulcers, extreme swelling, digestive issues, and systemic inflammation so intense that I could barely walk.
Through consistent monthly consulting and coaching, Dr. Loop worked with me on a comprehensive approach that included topical and oral treatments, immune support, digestive healing, weight management, and Chinese herbal and naturopathic medicine- all delivered via telemedicine. We live about 6.5 hours apart, so everything was done over the phone and internet, which at times was challenging, but ultimately very rewarding.
The results have been life-changing. I have lost over 60 pounds, no longer experience the leg ulcers I was dealing with earlier this year, and the severe inflammation that once limited my mobility has significantly improved. While I still have some residual swelling, I am now able to work out weekly- a huge difference compared to where I was just months ago.
I was first introduced to Dr. Loop in 2019 when he was a marketing client of mine, and during that time he supported me with acupuncture and monthly health coaching. He has always been an excellent listener, thoughtful in his approach, and deeply supportive. Reconnecting this past year for my own health needs felt natural and reassuring- a reminder of how valuable it is to have trusted professionals in your network.
Dr. Loop recommended the right blood work and hormonal and gland testing, helped me understand my results, and guided me through the questions I didn’t know how to answer on my own. His approach is thorough, patient-centered, and grounded in real understanding of the whole body.
This has been a journey, and it’s still a work in progress, but the improvement from August to December 2025 alone has been remarkable. I truly look forward to continuing this path under Dr. Loop’s care and would highly recommend him to anyone struggling with complex or chronic health issues who feels they’ve run out of options.
Price assessment: Great price
From Dr. Loop:
Overview
A patient presented with a complex, long-standing pattern involving digestive irregularity, hormonal imbalance, significant inflammatory skin involvement, fluid retention, fatigue, and post-viral symptoms. One of the primary concerns included severe inflammatory skin eruptions with open sores on the legs, recurrent cellulitis, pronounced redness and heat, and persistent swelling that had not fully responded to conventional medical treatment.
Additional symptoms included:
• Facial, abdominal, and lower extremity swelling and edema
• PMS, cramping, and hormonal irregularity
• Thyroid and endocrine imbalance
• Fatigue, brain fog, and lingering post-COVID symptoms
• Weight gain and fluid retention
• Digestive irregularity, bloating, and inflammation
• Skin flares aggravated around the menstrual cycle
From a classical Chinese medicine perspective, this reflected a deeper pattern of:
“Liver constraint transforming into Heat, combined with Damp accumulation, impaired fluid metabolism, systemic inflammation, and progressive Spleen and endocrine dysregulation.”
Initial Treatment Focus
The first phase of treatment centered primarily on:
• Classical Chinese herbal medicine
• Ayurvedic and naturopathic herbal adjuncts
• Digestive and metabolic regulation
• Clearing Damp-Heat and inflammatory burden
• Supporting circulation, detoxification, and lymphatic movement
Because the inflammatory skin involvement and cellulitis were severe and recurrent, the initial emphasis was on reducing Heat, resolving Damp accumulation, calming the skin, and improving systemic regulation.
Supportive therapies included:
• Hydrotherapy
• Infrared sauna
• Lymphatic support
• Gentle yoga therapy
• Breathwork
• Topical skin support
• Rebounder and movement therapy
As the inflammatory burden gradually reduced, open sores healed, redness diminished, and cellulitis episodes resolved.
Progression of Care
Once the acute inflammatory and toxic layers began to clear, treatment shifted toward:
• Restoring digestive and metabolic function
• Supporting hormonal regulation
• Improving circulation and fluid metabolism
• Reducing systemic inflammation
• Supporting sustainable weight loss
• Rebuilding tissue integrity and overall vitality
Over time, the patient experienced:
• Resolution of active open sores and cellulitis
• Significant reduction in inflammatory skin flares
• Improved digestion and reduced bloating
• Reduced headaches and improved focus
• Gradual, sustainable weight loss
• Improved energy and mental clarity
• Reduced PMS intensity
• Improved overall systemic regulation
Residual symptoms continued to improve but included:
• Lower body swelling and ankle edema
• Mild hot flashes and fatigue
• Occasional loose stools around the menstrual cycle
• Joint and tendon tightness
• Residual hyperpigmentation from prior skin inflammation
Current Phase of Care
The current phase of treatment focuses on:
• Maintaining circulation and lymphatic flow
• Supporting endocrine and hormonal regulation
• Continuing gentle reduction of residual inflammation and Damp accumulation
• Rebuilding connective tissue and skin tone after weight loss
• Supporting long-term vitality and resilience
Current supportive strategies include:
• Classical Chinese herbal medicine
• Integrative herbal support
• Omega-3 fatty acids
• Rebounder therapy and daily movement
• Hydrotherapy and red light therapy
• Gentle yoga and breathwork
• Support for connective tissue, circulation, and recovery
Clinical Perspective
This case reflects the importance of a phased and individualized approach to chronic inflammatory and systemic conditions.
Rather than addressing symptoms in isolation, treatment evolved over time based on the patient’s changing presentation—moving from:
“Clearing inflammation and Damp-Heat → restoring digestion and metabolism → regulating hormones and circulation → rebuilding and strengthening the system.”
This case highlights how Classical Chinese Medicine, supported by integrative herbal and naturopathic therapies, can provide meaningful support for complex chronic inflammatory patterns that have not fully resolved through conventional care alone.
