I had always considered acupuncture “voodoo” and had no interest in trying it UNTIL after 43 years of running, my feet were screaming and it hurt to walk. The doctor said my option was surgery which I wasn’t at all interested in, so my only “hope” was to give into “voodoo” and try acupuncture. When I called the soonest appointment was with Keith when he had only recently started his practice there and on my first visit I mad it very clear of what my preconceived notion was regarding acupuncture. He very patiently explained to me how it is intended to work and what his holistic approach was. Guess what?! My feet started feeling better after a couple of visits and Keith patiently trying different things to help resolve my problem. I was so very grateful! Additionally, over time, as I better understood how acupuncture and the other methods he employed worked, over time we incorporated other running related ailments as well as body functions/organs such as my liver, heart, etc. In addition to his technical expertise, he is a pleasure to talk to, learn from and his patience has been great and appreciated. He is so well versed in a whole range of holistic approaches that help heal but never “pushes” any method or product. I have felt as he truly cares about improving my well being as his utmost priority. I would highly recommend Keith as a well rounded, versatile practitioner of Chinese medicine and related approaches. I am so disappointed that he is leaving Williamsburg and will miss him and his talent!
